REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology today is a twentieth century practice honed from ancient traditions of foot massage for good health and relaxation. Although the hands and ears may be used, the feet are usually considered best to receive reflexology. It is a precise form of pressure work to areas of the foot relating to specific parts of the body thus enabling a whole body treatment to be performed on the feet alone. Reflexology has a balancing effect on mind, body and spirit, freeing the natural healing energies to maintain optimum health without intervention. It can be regarded as a treatment for a huge range of conditions or simply as part of regular healthcare maintenance.
As an advanced practitioner in reflexology, my treatments are based on the original Ingham method but may also include VRT (brief, weight-bearing foot pressures), precision reflexology (using directed energy with minimal pressure), diagnostic dowsing, essential oils and flower remedies. The metamorphic technique is available for progress at times of change or uncertainty

METAMORPHIC TECHNIQUE

The Metamorphic Technique can be used to enable the butterfly to burst forth from the cocoon or the oak tree from the acorn. Even before conception your intent was to live in a particular way in this life. But from conception onwards there have been influences affecting and governing you, many of which you may not be conscious. The spirit body, or true self, has greater wisdom than the intellect. Often we feel that we are unable to cope with change in our lives, or that we are unfulfilled or restless. Sometimes we feel unhappy for no apparent reason, displaying emotional or physiological symptoms which seem to have no cause. The Technique can help you towards realising the true inner self.
There are no pre-requisites or contra-indications to the Metamorphic Technique. It can be performed on anyone, regardless of consciousness, understanding, age or physical health. A light touch is applied to particular reflex areas of the feet, hands and head. No removal of clothing is required and the session will last for one hour.

AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is the controlled use of essential oils (pure plant extracts) for good health and relaxation. A session usually involves the massage of a specially prepared blend of oils in a full or partial body treatment, although there are other methods of application and use of essential oils, such as inhalation, bathing and in toiletries. A professional aromatherapist will advise on the safe home use of essential oils and will often make personalised products for the client. Although easily available, essential oils should be used with caution, preferably under the direction of an aromatherapist who will take into account any conditions which may make some oils unsuitable.
Aromatherapy, like reflexology, is a twentieth century treatment combining the knowledge of the ancients with modern understanding. Our use of essential oils for both health and beauty was accelerated last century when a French perfumier suffered burns after an accident in his laboratory and discovered the healing properties of lavender.

MOTHER AND BABY

Mother and baby massage skills are traditional, even considered essential, in many Eastern and tropical countries, not only for the great pleasure enjoyed during the treatment but, even more importantly, for the many long-lasting benefits.
Traditional massage for mothers of new babies helps with the restoration of good health and vitality, tending the body and the emotions through a gently stimulating treatment which improves the flow of milk and the circulation of blood and lymph.
An experienced therapist can treat you in perfect safety throughout your pregnancy as you prepare for the birth of your baby, easing tensions and minor conditions such as insomnia, backache and fluid retention.
A special mother to baby massage can be taught to enhance bath times and aid sleep and digestion whilst bonding in a way that is pleasurable to both.
Perhaps your loved ones might like you to enjoy three treatments in your own home together with baby massage instruction.*
