Whiston Hall Weddings
The Hall
The Hall is set in the breathtaking
splendour of the Staffordshire Moorlands and overlooking
the
beautiful Churnet Valley, the privately owned 19th Century
Manor House stands in 100 acres
of landscaped parkland .
This fine example of Victorian
architecture was built by the local Keys family, using stone
from
their own quarry in the valley.
The Ballroom
Recently refurbished and decorated
in lavish regal style, the ballroom, which seats 100 guests
in
the day and up to 350 in the whole hall at night, commands
magnificent views from every aspect.
Heavy drapes in rich blue and gold
complete the elegance of the room, of which an unusual
feature
s the intricately hand carved oak bar.
The Drawing Room
A former Victorian Ladies Drawing
Room, the drawing room now provides an intermate setting
for your welcome drinks and then later, your
buffet.
The Reception Rooms
The ground floor reception rooms,
both with fine examples of turn of the century fireplaces
and
carved bars, are the perfect place to relax with your guests
during the quieter moments of your
wedding day.
